Product Description Barrikade EP-BP is a solvent-free, two-component low viscosity clear epoxy resin and provides an impervious, hard and repellent finish with very good chemical resistance. Low odour and non flammable. Areas of use Barrikade EP-BP is intended for use as a primer and binder for screed. Preparation The surface should be free of laitance, oil and grease and loose or friable particles which may affect adhesion. Automatic shotblasting or scabbling is recommended. The surface should be vacuumed. Mixing Barrikade EP-BP is supplied in units ready to use comprising component A (Base) and component B (Hardener). The components must be mixed before use. Pour contents of B into A container and mix thoroughly for several minutes. Use gloves and goggles. Keep the components at room temperature 24 hrs before use. Cleaning Wash hands with special hand cleanser and thereafter with soap and water. Tools should be cleaned with solvents. Health and Safety Mandatory and recommended industrial hygiene procedures should be followed whenever reactive resins are being handled and processed. See safety data sheet. Technical data Product: Two-component, solvent-free clear epoxy resin Density: Approx. 1,07 g/cm³ Dry content: 100 % Viscosity: 200 - 300 Cp at 25°C Colour: Transparent Finish: Gloss Mixing ratio: A : B = 2 : 1 parts by volume Potlife: 30 minutes Material consumption: depending on substrate and application. Application temperature: The product should not be applied at temperatures below 10°C. Curing time: Initial curing 10 - 12 hrs at 20°C. Full cure 7 days. Package: 13,5 lit. units and 6 lit. units Storage/ Store at 10 - 25°C in dry shelf life: place and preferably in the original container. At least 12 months.
