Product Description:

Barrikade EP-TP(StoPox TP 100) is a solvent-free, two-component low viscosity clear epoxy resin  which provides an impervious, hard and repellent finish with very good chemical resistance. Has very high yellowing resistance. Low odour and non flammable.

 

Areas of use

Barrikade EP-TP(StoPox TP 100) is intended for use as a universal epoxy for primer, binder or topcoat. Ideal for colour quartz screeds or multicoat systems.

 

Preparation

The surface should be free of laitance, oil and grease and loose or friable particles which may affect adhesion. Automatic shotblasting, diamond grinding or scabbling is recommended. The surface should be vacuumed.

 

Mixing

Barrikade EP-TP(StoPox TP 100) is supplied in units ready to use comprising component A (Base) and component B (Hardener). The components must be mixed before use. Pour contents of B into A container and mix thoroughly for several minutes. Use gloves and goggles. Keep the components at room temperature 24 hours before use.

 

Cleaning

Wash hands with special hand cleanser and thereafter with soap and water. Tools should be cleaned with solvents.

 

Health and safety

Mandatory and recommended industrial hygiene procedures should be followed whenever reactive resins are being handled and processed. See safety data sheet.

Curing time:  Initial curing 10-12 hours at

                      23°C. Full cure after 7 days.

shelf life:       At least 12 months when

                     stored dry between +10 - +25°C

                     preferably in the original

                     container.
