Product Description Barrikade EW is a water dilutable two-component epoxy paint, which provides a semi gloss finish with good chemical and wearing properties. Low odour and non flammable. Areas of use Barrikade EW is intended for use on concrete, cement and sand screeds and cementious renders in industrial premises, warehouses and showrooms with light and medium traffic. Preparation The surface should be free of laitance, oil, grease and loose or friable particles which may affect adhesion. Mixing Barrikade EW is supplied in units ready to use comprising component A (Base) and component B (Hardener). First thoroughly stir contents in B to a homogenous consistency. Pour contents of A into B container and mix thoroughly for several minutes. Use gloves and goggles. Keep the components at room temperature 24 hrs before use. Application Barrikade EW is applied with roller in minimum of two coats. The first coat can be diluted with 5 - 10 % water. A second coat is not diluted. Material consumption approximately: 0,15 - 0,20 l/m² per coat. Cleaning Wash hands with special hand cleanser and thereafter with soap and water. Tools should be cleaned in luke warm water. Health and safety Mandatory and recommended industrial hygiene procedures should be followed whenever reactive resins are being handled and processed. See safety data sheet. Application temperature: The product should not be applied at temperatures below 10C. Curing time: Initial curing 6 - 8 hrs at 20°C. Full cure 7 days. Package: 10 l units, 5 l units Storage/shelf life: Store at 10 - 25°C in dry place and preferably in the original container. At least 12 months.
